Following the advice given by the Government, Alton Fork Truck Services have temporarily closed our workshop until the 14th April.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused but the safety of our employees, customers, and their families take priority at this unprecedented time. We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep our customers informed with any changes in opening dates.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
The Alton Team
Keep your truck safe and operational
At Alton Fork Truck Services, we have over 25 years’ experience in mechanical servicing, specialising in all makes and models including LPG, Electric, and Diesel, along with Pyroban trucks.
We can come to you
At Alton, we have three brand new service vans that are fully equipped mobile work stations. This allows repairs to be done at your location, minimising your down time.
For the bigger jobs, we can collect your truck from your premises and bring it back to a fully equipped service centre here in Chesterfield, where we can repair or replace any component of the truck.
We also have two service vehicles for the day to day services, and LOLER certifications.
Our focus is on you
We want to ensure that our customers’ satisfaction is our number one priority, so we always work in the most efficient way possible to keep standards high and repair costs low.
Alton can handle all insurance company recommendations and always ensure that any work completed is done within the timeframe to prevent any business insurance becoming invalidated.
We can also carry out inspections to advise what additional work trucks need to pass any future insurance inspections.
LOLER certifications can be issued in your work place, at a time that is convenient for you, to ensure that the truck is operational in a timely manner.
LOLER regulations place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. It is important to demonstrate that there are arrangements in place to ensure your fork truck is maintained both operationally and to the necessary safety standards.
